“My mission is to provide you with the highest quality care
using the best science and art possible.”
How FCR was Born.
For the last 1o years I have been utilizing cranial therapy in my clinic since my first introduction to the use of endonasal balloons and my own miracle. I was on a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea. I was diagnosed a few years prior and found it difficult to breath through my nose since an injury to my face/nose in 1989. I never imagined that this alteration in the structure of my face could be reversed with out painful surgery. It was literally less than a 5 minute procedure and my breathing was more open than I can ever remember. This wasn’t the only benefit I felt, I also felt calm and centered, my vision was sharper and I started sleeping more soundly than before and my chronic neck pain has disappeared!
My mission was to learn as much as I could about the science behind this art of cranial adjusting as well as all the different methods from medical, naturopathic, osteopathic and chiropractic professions. I found many “so called experts” used various techniques they felt were the only way, but didn’t find any instructors who could really explain why what they did was working, that I could buy into. I knew the answer would be in neurology. I also knew that if I could have a deeper understanding of the function of the skull I could have better clinical outcomes. That brought me to my current pursuit of a Fellowship in Neurology through the Carrick Institute of Neurological Sciences. It was here that many of my questions where answered.
This has brought me to where I am now and I continue to explore both endo-nasal balloon cranial adjusting along with Functional Neurology. I work with a Ph.D. in my office and we are performing clinical studies to refine and demonstrate all the ways that FCR can improve brain function and health. I have developed a system of treatment that I now teach to Medical and Chiropractic physicians internationally. Please see Doctors Training to find out our treatment schedule for 2011.

I am very interested , What Insurances do you take…. I have PPO Blue Cross/Blue shield. My posture has been an ongoing concern for at lease 5 yrs. My upper back and neck are very painful- unable to get comfortable so I don’t get a restful night sleep . I am going to message therapy, it feels good at that time , but no lasting results.
Do you have Saturday office hours? I work in the medical field , now that season is here it’s hard to get away.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon…thank you
It is Patricia,
It’s great to hear from you and yes we do accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. With regards to massage and posture I have found over the years that it seems to be more of a temporary symptom-based therapy. Many times our spine is responding to other influences such as from the feet, pelvis, locked up areas along the spine, and perhaps most importantly from the way that the brain is functioning and how it is controlling muscle movement and tone. I’m sorry to say that I do not have Saturday appointments available, I got to have some sort of life, don’t I?
Please take a look @ functionalcranialrelease.com and look at the exciting work that we’re doing at our office. It’s cutting-edge and it works.
You’re welcome to call my who is my assistant issue be happy to answer any further questions you might have at 941-330-8553. I hope I have been helpful.

My daughter is 11 and has a very mild form of Cerebral Palsy. She is diagnosed as left-hemiplegic and has increased tone in her left calf and an inward rotation of her left hip. Although she shows no neurological delays, she does have a slight limp. She has had botox and a heel cord extension several years ago. I am curious if there has been any success treating a neurological condition such as CP with FCR.
Thanks so much.
